Empower your students with Math and The Arts!
LBC partners with Windsor Unified on exciting Professional Development day
Educators know that when kids decide “I’m not good at math” at an early age, the struggle remains throughout their educational career. This is why we’re excited to work with Windsor Unified School District in a co-created arts integration training focused on Math and The Arts. The three-part training will be held at Windsor High School in April and educators will have the option to select from stand-alone workshops in Math, Dance and Theatre; Math and Visual Art; or Math and Music—or participate in all three! Each of these three |

sessions will focus on the natural connections between math and an art form, providing teachers with additional tools that they can implement with their students.
“These trainings will provide teachers with arts-integrated approaches that will help students grasp and apply math concepts through learning with their whole body,” said Ashleigh Worley, Director of Education & Community Engagement. “While these approaches help all students, learning through the arts is especially effective for students who struggle academically or are learning English as a second language.” |
