New Professional Development Series for Educators!

Creating, Building, and Maintaining the Classroom Container

Gain Practical Tools for a Stronger Classroom Environment.

A strong classroom culture doesn't happen by accident. Whether you're facilitating a school residency, leading an after-school program, or teaching in a classroom, student success depends on the environment you create through intentional practices, clear expectations, meaningful relationships, and the ability to navigate challenges when they arise.

This fall, LBC, in partnership with Creative Sonoma, is offering a new three-part professional development series: Creating, Building, and Maintaining the Classroom Container. The series provides practical tools for building learning environments that help students feel supported, focused, and ready to learn. Throughout the series, you'll explore:

• The impact of your presence, values, and teaching style
• Strategies for establishing routines, expectations, and systems
• Practical approaches for responding to challenges, setting boundaries, and repairing disruptions

Through reflection, discussion, real-world scenarios, and peer learning, you'll leave with strategies you can immediately apply in your work with students. Take any one of the workshops or the whole series for a deeper learning experience.
